Houston Hold ’Em for Heroes is an exciting annual fundraising event that brings the community together for a night of friendly competition, high energy, and meaningful impact—all in support of children battling cancer and their families.

Guests are invited to enjoy a premier poker experience in a lively, welcoming atmosphere, whether they are seasoned players or joining the table for the first time. The evening features tournament-style play, great food and drinks, exciting prizes, and opportunities to win while giving back to a powerful cause.

Beyond the cards and competition, Houston Hold ’Em for Heroes is about something much greater. Each hand played helps fund critical programs that support families navigating childhood cancer, including financial assistance, comfort and care items, social experiences, and family-centered support services.

The event also highlights the courage of the children and families we serve—our true heroes—whose strength inspires everything we do.

By participating, guests are not just playing to win at the table—they are helping families access the resources, relief, and moments of joy they need during one of life’s most difficult journeys.
