How does
a family hear about Heroes for Children?
Heroes for
Children works closely with social workers at Texas hospitals Each
social worker does a thorough check of a family’s finances and
needs. The social worker then applies for assistance through Heroes
for Children’s online application. One social worker referred to
the organization as an “emergency relief fund.” Once an application
is received, assistance is provided no later than seven days later.
